Aromas of lemon zest, apple peel, cream and soft oak. Well balanced acidity, while allowing a soft texture through the finish. This wine was barrel fermented and stirred lightly through 14 months of barrel aging.

The Starkey Vineyard is located 3 miles west of the town of Sebastopol and brings a cool coastal influence to the vineyard that gives a great balance of acidity of fruit. This wine is tightly wound, but opens up to bright cherry, wet stone and cream. Aged approximately for 14 months in 50% new French oak. Un-fined and Un-filtered.
